Two limitations worth knowing. Commercial use and voice ownership are governed by the plan you are on and the consent you can prove for a cloned voice, so read the terms before you clone anything that is not yours. And output quality degrades with sloppy input: punctuation, paragraph breaks and phonetic spellings for names do most of the work in getting a good read. Against OpenAI's speech models and the big-cloud engines from Google, Amazon and Microsoft, ElevenLabs generally wins on expressiveness and loses on price at very high volume.
