About Launchory

Launchory exists for one reason: to help startups get found. Most directories give you a name, a link, and a logo. We give you a complete profile of your digital presence — your website, X, LinkedIn, GitHub, Product Hunt, app stores, YouTube, Discord, and more — so early adopters can see the whole picture in one place.

Every listing is screened before it goes live, and anything the check flags is held for a person to decide. Community upvotes decide what trends, and every startup — free or premium — gets a permanent, SEO-friendly listing page with structured data that search engines love.

What belongs on Launchory

We list software and tech products — things people sign up for and use online: SaaS and web apps, AI tools and agents, developer tools, APIs and infrastructure, mobile and desktop apps, no-code tools, browser extensions, open-source projects, and tech platforms or marketplaces.

We don't list local trades and services (plumbing, cleaning, repair, landscaping, salons, contractors); individual online storefronts selling physical goods — we list the e-commerce software, not the shops built on it; clinics, law firms, agencies and other bill-by-the-hour service businesses; MLM, "make money online", airdrop, gambling or adult offers; and affiliate or AI-spun content sites that exist mainly to host links.

Rule of thumb: if your product is something a user signs up for and uses, it belongs here. If your business is something a customer hires you to come and do, it doesn't.

Every submission is screened against this policy, and anything the check flags is held for a human decision. Off-topic submissions are declined with this policy quoted, and you're welcome to resubmit if you build something that fits.

Free and premium listings

Free listings display the Launchory badge — verifying it on your site is what submits your listing for review, and it's what earns you a dofollow backlink the day you go live. Premium listings skip the badge and the queue: instant approval, a guaranteed dofollow link, and 90 days of featured placement. That's the whole model — no hidden tiers, no pay-to-rank upvotes.
